Terms Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Lightli apps, the Lightli website, subscriptions, one-time purchases, support, and related services. Lightli is an independent app range run by Lightli LTD.

By accessing or using any Lightli service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Lightli.

Acceptance and Scope

These Terms apply to Lightli apps and services unless a specific feature, store listing, or provider says that additional terms apply. If you use Lightli on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must have legal capacity to use Lightli. If you are under 13, use Lightli only with consent and supervision from a parent or guardian. If you are under the age of majority where you live, your parent or guardian should review these Terms with you.

Some features require an account. Please keep your sign-in details secure, provide accurate information, and tell us at hello@lightli.uk if you think your account has been used without permission.

Some apps may allow guest mode. Guest mode data is stored on our servers with an anonymous account linked to an anonymous user ID. Anonymous accounts are automatically deleted 30 days from creation.

Lightli Services

Lightli provides mobile apps for wellness, productivity, and lifestyle management, including Journalmi, Cycle, Routino, Quitly, Listly, and Gymly.

Lightli apps are designed for personal organisation, reflection, wellness, and tracking. They are not a substitute for professional medical, fitness, legal, financial, or other specialist advice.

Your Content

You own the content you create or store in Lightli, such as journal entries, habits, lists, cycle data, workouts, images, and settings.

By storing content in Lightli, you give Lightli a limited permission to use that content only as needed to provide the service, including to store it, display it back to you, sync it, back it up, process it for app features, provide support, keep services secure, and comply with law.

We will not sell your personal content, use it for advertising, or share it except as described in the Privacy Policy or where you ask us to.

You are responsible for the content you add to Lightli and for making sure your use of the apps is lawful and respectful of others' rights.

Subscriptions, One-Time Purchases, and Payment

Premium features may be offered through subscriptions, free trials, or non-renewing one-time purchases shown as Pay once where available. Pay once describes how the purchase is charged; it does not promise that an app or service will be maintained indefinitely.

Responsible Use

Please use Lightli only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

Third-Party Services and App Stores

Lightli relies on third-party services including Apple, Google, Firebase, RevenueCat, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, the App Store, and Google Play. Their own terms and privacy notices apply to their services. The Privacy Policy explains provider roles in more detail.

Privacy

Your use of Lightli is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how app data is stored, protected, exported, deleted, and processed by service providers.

Service Availability, Changes, and Updates

We work to keep Lightli available and useful, but we cannot promise that every service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device or platform.

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue features. Where a change materially affects paid functionality or your rights, we will provide notice where reasonably possible or legally required.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted unless a later date is stated. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using Lightli and cancel any subscription before its next renewal.

Lightli IP and Feedback

Lightli LTD owns the Lightli apps, names, logos, branding, design, interface, code, documentation, and Lightli-created content, except for rights owned by others.

If you send feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you allow Lightli to use them to improve or develop products without owing compensation. This does not transfer ownership of content you already own.

Stopping Use and Account Deletion

You may stop using Lightli at any time. Signed-in users can delete their account and data in-app from Settings where available, or contact hello@lightli.uk for help.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for serious breaches of these Terms, security risks, fraud, illegal activity, abuse, legal requirements, or accounts inactive for 24+ months after notice where reasonably practicable.

After termination, your access to services may stop, data may be deleted according to the Privacy Policy, and provisions that logically need to continue, such as ownership, payment, liability, and dispute terms, will continue.

Disclaimers and Liability

Lightli apps are provided for personal tracking, organisation, and reflection. They are not medical devices and should not be used for medical diagnosis, treatment, prevention, emergency decisions, or as a replacement for professional advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.

To the extent the law allows, Lightli LTD is not liable for indirect losses, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity, loss caused by third-party services, or loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Where liability can lawfully be limited, our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid Lightli in the 12 months before the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

To the extent permitted by law, you may be responsible for losses Lightli suffers because of your unlawful use of the services, breach of these Terms, or content you upload.

Governing Law and General Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live, disputes relating to these Terms or Lightli services are subject to the courts of England and Wales.

Before starting a formal claim, please contact hello@lightli.uk so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

If part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will continue. If we do not enforce a right immediately, that does not mean we give it up. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer them where it does not materially reduce your rights.
